人权

Ecolab is committed to advancing the wellbeing of people and communities worldwide and respecting human rights across our global operations and supply chain. We have established formal policies, procedures and due diligence processes to identify, assess and address human rights risks.

我们的政策

We are committed to upholding internationally recognized human rights standards, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the ILO 1998 Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

We operate in alignment with the SA8000 Standard, which seeks to protect the basic rights of workers. Our approach emphasizes an inclusive and respectful workplace, safe working conditions and the elimination of child labor, forced labor, discrimination, corruption and bribery. Regional programs and compliance and ethics assessments are used to evaluate conformity with these commitments and identify human rights-related risks.

  • Our Code of Conduct which addresses key human rights topics and requires employees to report potential concerns.
  • Our Ethical Sourcing Standards which communicate expectations to vendors and business partners, including requirements related to the UK Modern Slavery Act and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.
  • Our Supplier Code of Conduct which sets standards for integrity, ethical conduct and legal compliance.
  • Our Anti-Human Trafficking Policy which addresses slavery and human trafficking risks.
  • Our Conflict Minerals Policy which supports efforts to end violence and human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring countries.

商业道德

We are committed to upholding the highest legal and ethical standards across all markets and operations. This commitment is supported by a comprehensive set of policies, standards, procedures and systems designed to promote consistent, ethical decision-making and protect long-term business performance.

Our Code of Conduct is the foundation of Ecolab’s ethics program, applies to all directors, officers and employees and provides clear guidance on ethical conduct and legal compliance in every market where the company operates. New employees receive Code of Conduct training upon hire and must acknowledge compliance. Annually, all employees, Directors and nearly all contingent workers complete refresher training and certify compliance, with an annual completion target of 100%. 2025年,我们实现了99%的全球完成率。

Employees are required to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the Code of Conduct. Disclosures are reviewed by the Global Compliance department and may be approved with defined mitigation and monitoring requirements. Undisclosed conflicts may result in investigation under the Code of Conduct program.

反腐败

Ecolab monitors and mitigates corruption risk through a comprehensive, risk-based anti-bribery and anti-corruption program, which includes a global Anti-Corruption Policy and Procedures, mandatory training, third party due diligence and ongoing monitoring, supported by audits and governance oversight in all markets.

As part of Ecolab's internal audit program, approximately 30 audits are completed each year across 110 auditable units, including countries, divisions and departments. Around 50 country operating locations are audited on a four-to five-year cycle, with procedures that include testing controls relevant to the anti-corruption program. In addition, 11 anti-corruption-specific audits were completed in 2025. Our Global Compliance team also conducts ongoing assessments across all markets and business units, including newly acquired operations.
