Benefits of Nalco Water Colloidal Silica Coating Additives
Anti-Soiling
Certain coatings are highly susceptible to soiling and staining. Colloidal silica helps increase hydrophilicity and repel dirt.
Abrasion and Scratch-Resistant
Colloidal silica as a coating additive improves the abrasion-, scratch- and corrosion resistance of coatings helping make coatings last longer.
Frictionizing
Colloidal silica as a coating additive increases the coefficient of friction of a surface, providing critical anti-slip and anti-skip properties for coatings.
Additional Coating Applications
